Crytek’s New Free To Play Social FPS Shooter

If you keep up with “vidya games” as much as I do, you probably already knew this was coming. With the emergence of Call Of Duty as the number one selling FPS on the market, it was only a matter of time before developers highlighted the social advantages of the game and built around them. In comes Crytek’s Warface, a free to play first person shooter that looks as good as Battlefield 3.

Other than the gorgeous graphics, which is to be expected from a Crytek game and the whole “free to play” concept, I’m not too sure this game will have what it takes to differentiate itself from a saturated military FPS market. But I won’t jump to conclusions as it’s still too early to tell.
